Drywall is being finished!

It seems like the process has slowed waaaaaaaaay down, but the finish work takes time. We were able to see the drywall guy putting up some of the tape and I am amazed at how easy he made this process work. If it were me doing that I shudder to think what it would look like! Glad we're leaving all of this to the pros. Randy talked to the drywall finish guy and he said he would be finished by Wednesday and the painters should be in on Friday to put on the primer. The stone for the front of the house was delivered today so we should see some progress in the exterior finish in the next couple of days. Sooooooooo exciting!

  1. Before installing basement wall insulation, make sure to check the exterior drainage to make sure excess moisture is draining properly. In addition, it is a good idea to have a professional inspect the basement for dampness, as insulation can exacerbate this problem. During this process, have the contractor check for any leaks that could raise moisture levels in the basement. It is important to get rid of any unwanted dampness before installing wall insulation.
