The carpet is IN!

I guess Mexico doesn't celebrate memorial day because the carpet installers were at the house today. They were really nice and did a GREAT job. The house is coming together and we will be in on the 16th. It doesn't seem possible. We started this process mid January and had some set backs, but we're almost to the finish line now. Can't wait!!!!!!

Putting on the Finishing Touches!

The past couple of days have seen some amazing transformation in our home. Walls have been painted, cabinets are up, light fixtures are installed, granite counters are in, plumbing and all that jazz are in and ready to get the final inspection from the plumber. It looks like a REAL house. I am so excited and moving day won't come fast enough. Ahhhhhh then comes the unpacking . . . lots, and lots of unpacking! Sigh!!!

Not too much work done on the house this weekend. I can't complain, though. It was Mother's Day weekend and every mother deserved to have her family with her. I hope that it was a wonderful weekend for all mothers!
We expect to see a lot of movement this week. The cabinets should go in and all of the trim should be up. As always, you'll be treated to more pics. Lucky YOU!!!
